» Measuring Your Dog
Measure your dog's neck and chest circumferences. Take a piece of string, wrap it around snug (but not tight) and then measure the string where both ends meet. If measurements do not match an exact size, then go to the next larger size that will match a measurement. Dog's length is measured from base of neck to beginning of hind legs.

» Considerations
The "snugness" of a sweater depends on the yarn and stitch used in creating the garment. Apparel products on this site made by other manufacturers vary in their sizing ranges, but will be matched closely to the chart above. Chest and neck measurements determine whether an item will fit your pet.

Do not pull the tape measure too tight when measuring your dog. Tape measure should just touch without pulling it taunt. The true measurement of sweater is just slightly larger than neck measurement specified. This will allow the sweater to fit over your dog's head. If your dog has a large head, order a size larger than their neck size to allow the sweater to fit comfortably over their head.
